State croquet comes to town

The NSW State Croquet team will train and play this Saturday, February 25, at the Lismore Croquet lawn from 11am in preparation for the interstate challenge in Adelaide in early April.

The NSW State Croquet team will also play on Sunday, February 26, in Byron Bay from 10.30am. NSW captain Peter Landrebe will be joined by Steven Harden and Mike Jenner (a highly ranked USA player) on the Lismore lawn, along with Lismores own Robbie Stock, who is a womens state squad member. Stock earned her position in the prestigious line-up by performing remarkedly well in state and national events in the past two years.

Ex-Australian players Max Donati and Brett Hewett are also playing over the two days.

The Lismore lawns are located next to the Lismore Fire Station in Molesworth Steet and Byrons lawns are next to the towns tennis courts.
