No looking back...

Local songstress Hannah Pearl is launching her CD this Saturday.

Remember the all-girl Lismore band Slippery? If you do youll remember Hannah Pearl and if you dont remember the band you may have recently seen Hannah playing at various venues on the North Coast.

Now this local singer and songwriter has finally finished her debut CD. She spent a year in Japan teaching English to earn the money to produce the album with the assistance of local muso-turned-producer Nick Edin.

The result? A funky indie pop sound that will showcase her considerable talents to the world. Hannah plans to tour Europe this May.

Hannah will launch her CD at Tuntable Falls Community Hall (near her home town of Nimbin) this Saturday, January 28, from 7.30pm.

Therell be performances from some of this areas most talented singers, dancers, and circus folk including Diana Anaid, Luke Molloy, Janelle Roworth, Jesse James, the Intergalactic Blues Mafia and of course Hannah Pearl herself.

Doors open at 7.30pm and food is available.
