Whos to judge?
Mr Hagens sermon on homosexuality (Echo, Jan 12, three full columns) broke virtually every rule for good letters. It was unreadably long (keep them short), rambling (keep them simple) and unoriginal (never give extended quotes from other sources). Maybe if the good man followed the example of Jesus whose ideas I admire unreservedly hed write a more convincing tome. Vast amounts of that Teachers scathing utterances were against the rich, the arrogant and the hypocritical, but Hes not reported to have ever said one word about homosexuality. But He did once deliver my all-time favourite one-liner, which the good pastor presumably knows well... Judge not that ye be not judged.
