$30,000 grant will fund launching platform for rowing club

A STATE Government grant of $30,000 will help the Lismore Rowing Club improve access to the Wilsons River at Lismore Lake.

The club has designed a launching platform and concrete apron for rowing and other recreational boats to be constructed at the site next to the existing boat ramp.

It follows consultations with a local surveyor, environmental planner and project manager.

The grant came from the NSW Office of Communities under the Community Building Partnership program.

The money will fund the first stage of the project.
