Man murdered in East Lismore

A 28-year-old man has been refused bail and will appear again in Lismore Local Court on August 18 charged with the murder of a 48-year-old man in East Lismore on Sunday night.

Police were called to a unit in Marlyn Ave at 8.20pm where they found Michael Corkhills body with multiple stab wounds.

The 28-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Lismore Police Station.
