Evening song (with food)

Spiritsong choir will perform along with other acts at a dinner and classical concert gig this Saturday.

Its called An Enchanted Evening with everything from the light classics to the lightly classical. This Saturday evening, May 24, you can enjoy dinner and a concert at St Andrews Anglican Church in Zadoc Street, Lismore.

Dinner in the specially decorated Parish Hall will be at 6.30pm, followed by a concert at 8pm in the church.

The recital will feature Stephanie Higgs, violinist, who was twice selected to play with the Australian Youth Orchestra and subsequently appointed leader of the Darwin Symphony Orchestra. She will be playing some works by Kriesler and Viotti. Shell also be performing as part of the Cape Byron String Quartet.

Margaret Curtis, a talented pianist and harpist, will also perform.

Spiritsong, a local choir under the directorship of Warren Whitney, will raise the church roof with song.

Tickets are $30 for dinner and concert (or $10 for concert only) and available from Dymocks in Lismore and the St Andrews Ministry Centre in Keen Street, Lismore.
