Guitar man returns
Last time Lloyd Spiegel was in Lismore it rained. And rained. And then flooded.
Quite a few people couldnt get to his gig. (Unless you had a boat.) Hopefully itll be a fine, cool night this Saturday, May 24, at the Italo Club in North Lismore when Lloyd Spiegel returns to give the Lismore audience a real blues thrill.
With 15 years of performing, six albums and a swag of accolades to his name, Lloyd is the most experienced young blues artist in Australia. Hes been performing since he was 10. He formed his first band at 13 and recorded his first CD at 15.
I suppose now that hes in his mid-twenties hell be retiring soon...
No way! This man can play guitar like ringin a bell and has played with Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee, BB King, Buddy Guy and Ray Charles.
Check out the guitar man live at this free gig at the groovy Italo Club this Saturday.
