All ages concert to rock Lismore

The Stains (top) and The Jaywalks are part of the four band action at the third Soundcheck all-ages gig in Lismore coming soon.

The Soundcheck concept is an excellent one provide a secure alcohol and drug free environment where young people (and their parents) can enjoy live music. Twice this year Soundcheck has provided that safe gig for the youth and has also provided a venue for young bands to strut their musical stuff.

Now, folks, its time for Soundcheck 3, to be held at the Lismore PCYC (corner of Orion and Dawson Streets) next Friday, May 23.

Featured bands are the Gas Giants (six-piece funk and rock from Evans Head), Funbox Horatio (three-piece garage rock/indie from Wollongbar), The Stains (four-piece garage rock from Alstonville) and The Jaywalks (youngest band to ever have a song banned from radio all under 13 and the song was I Like Fat Chicks).

The gig starts at 6.30pm and runs until 10.30pm. This is a fully secured gig with no passouts.

Tickets are $10 pre-sale from the venue or $12 at the door on the night.

Lets rock! Safely.
