Canadian artist Neema (pictured) is performing at the Catholic Hall, Bangalow, on Friday, May 16. Shes launching her debut album Masi Cho while on her brief tour of this country.

Neema is a world traveller and communicates her geographical, emotional and spiritual journeys through her songs.Her folk/pop music is compassionate and creates hope for peace.She sings mainly in English with some French, Tlicho (an aboriginal Canadian language) and Arabic thrown in for authentic good measure.

Also performing that night is South-Korean born, Western Australian-based singer Saritah. From soul through folk to roots and world beats, Saritah has clearly crafted her own style, full of sincere, raw energy.

Tickets are $15 at the door. The female musical action starts at 8pm.
