New folk club in Bangers

Mick McHugh (pictured) is the host of the new monthly folk club to be held at Bang Thai restaurant in Bangalow. Mick has a debut EP in stores and a swag of gigs to keep him busy but he has found the time to organise this event.

Micks special guest for this Friday, April 25, is Cody Butler, a local girl on the folk road to great things. At just 16, she performed at the East Coast Blues and Roots Festival in 2007 with a follow up performance in 2008.

The night starts at 6.30pm, costs $35 per person and includes the show as well as a two-course Bang Thai dinner. (Not your $5 entry folkie club is it?)

To book (which is recommended) phone 6687 2000.
