Peter Pan and the Con

The Northern Rivers Conservatorium is presenting a production of Peter Pan on April 4 and 5 at the Italo Club in Lismore.

Acted by students from around the Northern Rivers and supported by local schools, this production is directed by Michael Sharmon (pictured), who graduated from the Con earlier this year.

Michael said he is thrilled but not surprised by the talent in the region.

As a teacher, it is fantastic to have such an enthusiastic and energetic bunch of performers, Michael remarked.

Local artist and parent to two of the performers, Paol Serret, is also involved with the production, designing a spectacular backdrop.

The production is also bringing together the combined talents of the acting and music students with Wendy Turner composing the music for the play. She has been working furiously with her string ensemble group, wholl perform the score.
