Kennedy goes celestial

Runaway ASP Australasia ratings leader Stuart Kennedy from Lennox Head (pictured) earned his spot alongside ASP World Champion Mick Fanning in the Rip Curl Pro at Bells Beach early this week, after winning the Victoria Place To Be trials. The Rip Curl Pro is the second of 11 stops on the ASP Mens World Tour and includes the worlds top 45 full-time touring male professional surfers plus three wildcards. Kennedy will be up against Taj Burrow, the defending champion of the event, Mick Fanning, the reigning ASP World Champion, and Kelly Slater, the current World No. 1.
