Whos Who? Its Garry!

That man with the spiky hair and gruff voice is funny guy Garry Who. Hell headline at the Big Gig in Ballina next Thursday.

Garry Who is infamous on the Australian comedy scene. Hes one of the pioneers of the legendary Sydney Comedy Store. Back in the 80s, the Store (as it was affectionately known) was the birthplace of Aussie stand-up ushering in fast-talking comedy newborns like Vince Sorrenti and Austen Tayshus.

Garry quickly slipped into television as resident comedian on The Midday Show with Ray Martin for two years and he hosted and wrote his own segments in the light-hearted Just for the Record on Channel Ten.

Garry is always touring and is in high demand for corporate work and live comedy gigs around the country and abroad. Hes one of those comics who can also act, so hes appeared on shows like Water Rats and GP and is a regular on Fat Pizza. Hes guested with Kerri Anne and Bert Newton and has had numerous spots on The Footy Show, Headliners ABC and Stand Up Australia.

Garry headlines the Big Gig at the Ballina RSL Club next Thursday, March 27, with MC Robert Grayson stepping in to replace regular MC Mandy Nolan (who is away performing at the Melbourne Comedy Festival).

Support act for the evening is June Horden.

The laughs start at 8pm and the gig is free. No joke.
