Super sopper gets thumbs up

Lismore Workers Bowls Club is proud of their new super sopper and is keen to show off the device to other clubs, according to club secretary Lloyd Moss.

After rain on Thursday afternoon the club had a trial run with the new super sopper, Lloyd said. It took 35 minutes to remove the water and get the green ready for play.

Lloyd said the sopper was a good investment for the club and other clubs should follow suit.

Club officials interested in a game of bowls and a look at the new apparatus can call Lloyd on 6625 2299 or email him on rae.moss@bigpond.com to set up a meeting.
