Calling young artists!

These dancers shared the fun of the Blok Party last year in Lismore. its hip hip happening again.

With this years theme Shout Share Live Unite Community Connections North Coast with the Creative Peoples Collective (CPC) will get down at the Blok Party on Saturday, April 12, as part of Youth Week. And organisers are looking for performers and participants.

The event aims to bring the community together and showcase some of the fantastic youth talent in the Lismore area from musicians and dancers to short film producers. (The films are short, not the producers.)

Blok Party will have a free BBQ, a hip hop workshop, DJs, the launch of a special youth stories publication as well as performances and short films to help raise awareness about services and programs available to youth. Organisers are also inviting information stalls.

If you are a young artist or from a youth service that would like to be part of this event phone Nadine from the CPC on 0428 486 880. Blok Party will celebrate youth talent at C-Blok in Keen Street, Lismore, from 4pm-8pm.
