My Imprints series explores the transitory and end

My Imprints series explores the transitory and enduring patterns and detailed qualities of the natural Australian environment, Wendy Lageman said of her exhibition Imprints: Ancient, Timeless, Enduring at Lismore Regional Gallery.

This local artist explores the Australian landscape from the seashore to the mountains, the desert to the salt lakes, and to the lush rolling hills. The heavily textured surfaces of her works capture nature where movement and energy are in constant play.

My aim is to capture a sense of space, line and natures energy in my paintings.

Imprints: Ancient, Timeless, Enduring runs until April 9.
