Last Re-Mains

Hot guitar licks, burnin banjo and the best country rock money can buy The Re-Mains play the Winnie this Saturday.

In their last Lismore show before leaving for a three-month tour of Canada in May, The Re-Mains return to the Winsome Hotel in Lismore this Satdee night, March 8, in an onslaught of country rock and roll.

With new guitarist Mick Elliot from Brisbane (Mexico City, Jackie Marshall) and mercenary allies Christian Pyle and Uncle Burnin Love stepping into the fray, it looks set to be a invasion of banjo-pop.

Country-blues mystic Damo ODwyer will lead the attack from 8pm while Tanya Delys Mandorla (the Punchin Lama of Poetry) will mop up resistance with assonance and metaphor.

The Re-Mains will be playing tracks from their soon-to-be-released new album Vregedonomy about which Laurie The Loon Axtens said, I dont know about it.
