Dazzle at your deb and raise money for cancer

Janelle Power and Mary Vidler from Mary Vidler Bridal Gowns with members of the Lismore Lions Club and local girls (l-r) Jessica Arber, Beth Power and Ayarna Ferguson, who are making their debut at the ball.

Theres nothing quite like the anticipation leading up to your deb.

From the dress purchase to the dance classes, navigating stilettos to the moment of arrival: young couples stepping out of limosin floor length gowns and tuxes to the flashing of cameras.

Theres no denying it, debutante balls are a rite of passage... and a great excuse to dress up and party.

Mary Vidler Bridal Gowns and the Lismore Lions Club have organised a deb ball for May 31 at the Lismore Workers Club to raise money for the breast cancer unit at Lismore Base Hospital.

Girls and gents aged over 16 are welcome and, so you can waltz elegantly on the night, dance classes begin on April 6.

The ball itself will be a glitzy affair with a delicious dinner, live music, lucky door prizes and raffles. Tickets are $40 per person.

For more information pop in and see Janelle Power at Mary Vidler Bridal Gowns in Carrington Street or phone 6621 6724.
