Discover Ta Ke Ti Na

A free Ta Ke Ti Na lecture and demonstration with founder Reinhard Flatischler will be held next Wednesday, March 5, at the Northern Rivers Conservatorium.

Developed more than 35 years ago, Ta Ke Ti Na leads participants to their innate rhythmic knowledge as rhythms are layered directly into the body through stepping, clapping and the voice. This simple, fun process is deeply relaxing and meditative, and requires no musical experience.

It is part of theatre, dance companies and corporate training programs and is used in pain management and psychotherapy, as well as in prisons, drug rehabilitation programs and communication programs.

The free lecture and demo is a preview of a weekend Rhythm for Evolution workshop being held in Bangalow from March 7-9.

The free event begins at 7.30pm and everyone is welcome.
