Joyism rocks the Richmond

Catch former Icehouse keyboardisr and vocalist Tony Llewellyn when he plays with his band Joyism at the Richmond Hotel in Lismore this Friday, February 29.

The band plays well-known dance floor hits including Icehouse tracks and retro as well as European chart successes and some tasty originals.

The gig starts at 8pm.

In other Richmond Hotel news, the pub is the exclusive venue for the Karaoke World Championships Australian trials.

The first of these is this Saturday, March 1, from 8pm till late, so if you think youve got what it takes in the karaoke stakes go along and belt out a tune for the judges.

The winner of the heats will get to compete in the grand final on the Gold Coast in August and the Australian champion will then travel to Finland for the Karaoke World Championships.

Prizes include airfares, $2000 prize money, an Airlie Beach holiday and a karaoke system.
