Weve had a facelift!

You will have noticed the front page of The Echo looks fresher and more modern with our new front page banner.

Sub-editor Andy Gough contributed the image of a tree frog, photographed at Billen Cliffs, which you will see popping up in our pages from now on.

Echo general manager Heather Williams said the papers new look was one of the ways of ensuring the paper remained contemporary.

The transformation is just one of the ideas we have for 2008 to make The Echo an even better reflection of the community, Mrs Williams said. With a new editor on board, new paper stock and a new printer, the changed logo is one of the small but important improvements we are making for our readers.

The back page has also changed its look and of course, were always looking for feedback.

Whats your favourite part of The Echo? Do you have ideas for stories or regular features you would like to see included each week?
