Local, original, live

Tess Hathaway (left) and Black Lullaby are set to make sweet music this Saturday in Bangalow.

The Black Lullaby is a local trio fronted by Ange Saul who adds her songwriting skills and soulful voice to a musical chemistry that is obvious when this drums, bass and guitar trio hits the stage.

Their EP Future Target is a funky collection of original songs that captures some of the magic that is The Black Lullaby live.

Tess Hathaway is only 20 but already has a swag of experience. Her original songs have graced the local music scene since she was nine. A prodigy, I guess.

Her musical style has evolved over the years with a pop sound peppered with R&B and some country flavours. Tasty.

Her debut EP Where is available at All Music and Vision and Planet Music Lismore.

The Black Lullaby and Tess will showcase their talents at the Bangalow Hotel this Saturday, February 9, from 8pm.
