The best way to get your vegies and local produce is to go to the local markets and bypass the hugely prosperous middlemen (like the fresh food people) and support the local growers.

You can go to the Rainbow Region Organic Market every Tuesday morning at the Lismore Showground or the Farmers Market every Saturday morning (also at the Lismore Showground).

Now you can also get your fix of fresh, tasty, high quality, local jazz at the Farmers Market every Saturday morning with the Farmers Market Jazz Band featuring the superb talents of Davey Rankin on trombone (pictured here during one of the previous centuries), John Crozier on the six-stringer, and Mark Bromley on the bass.

The band plays from 8am-12pm. (With breaks of course.)
