Its Valentines Day next Thursday, February 14, so why not fall in love with NORPAs 2008 season that is.

The local performing arts company is inviting people to its free launch party, where you can indulge in a glass of champers, a bite to eat and get a sneak peak of the 15 shows planned for 2008.

Theres a local production, mesmerising dance pieces, thought-provoking drama, biting political satire and much more to keep artistically-inclined minds entertained.

NORPA is celebrating its 15th year so its no small coincidence were producing and presenting 15 eclectic, inspiring, hilarious, riveting, soulful, tasty and teasing shows this year, said marketing manager, Jeremy Sheaffe. The best way to get the best seats in the house for this dazzling array of talent is to be front and centre at the season launch.

The launch is on at the Star Court Theatre in Lismore next Thursday, February 14, from 6pm. If you happen to miss it because youre too busy doing something romantic, theres another launch at the Byron Bay Community Centre at 6pm on Friday, February 22.
