Get your pooch under control

If you thought an old dog couldnt learn new tricks, wait till you meet dog trainer extraordinaire Janet Goodwin, whose pooches Meg and Finn (pictured) are seriously well behaved.

If youve got a pet who just wont do what its told, then Janets non-profit dog obedience classes could make life a lot easier for you and your fluffy friend.

The Wollongbar Dog Obedience School will recommence this Sunday, February 3, at 5pm at Hill Park Oval in Simpson Avenue, Wollongbar. The Dunoon Dog Obedience School will also start back next Tuesday, February 5, at 6pm in the Dunoon Sports Club car park.

Janet has been teaching dog obedience classes for eight years, helping to train hundreds of dogs (and their owners) as well as raise money for animal rescue groups.

Classes cover basic obedience such as sit, stay, come and drop, plus socialising skills, health and nutrition.

Dogs and owners of all ages are welcome and a small donation of $5 is charged.

For more information phone Janet on 6628 2910 or 0402 443 988.
