Blast from the past

Well folks, remember these faces? Remember this gig?

The gig was one of the popular Unplugged shows held monthly at the Rous Hotel in Lismore last century. This photo was taken on May 13 in 1998. Before 9/11, iPods and Peter Garrett as an ALP apologist.

Playing are (l-r) Russell Adams on bass (Russell runs a music shop in Lismore these days), Greg Champion (Greg now lives in Melbourne, ran in the Masters Games last year and has a weekly national radio show, and still gigs all around the country), Steve Thompson on drums (Sadly, Steve died from a brain tumour at the end of the century) and Chris Aronsten (Chris is still the ultimate musical troubadour spending part of each year gigging in Europe, part drying out in the Australian desert and part here on the North Coast where he has his home).
