Ash in Byron

In the genre of dreadlocks, open-tuned guitar and aware lyrics comes Ash Grunwald!

Last year was a busy year for Ash Grunwald. His longplayer Give Signs saw him nominated for an ARIA Award for Best Blues and Roots Album, as well as touring the UK and Europe twice, and visiting Japan for a whirlwind promo trip when Give Signs was released there in October. And he also managed to squeeze in some shows and festival appearances across Australia.Phew!

Ash will soon be returning to the studio to work on his new album but before that punters can see and hear the dreaded one in action when he plays the Great Northern Hotel in Byron this Saturday, January 19, from 9pm.

Tickets are $15 and available from the venue (6685 6454), the ABC Shop in Ballina, and Music Bizarre in Lismore. Or online at www.theatlasagency.com.
