Blue & White angels give thanks

Enjoying their end-of-year breakfast at Luv A Coffee last were Blue & White Auxiliary members (l-r) Amy Towner, Mary Reid, Colleen McKay, Wanda Lumley, Margaret Clark, Maureen Webb, Topsy Mason, Priscilla Beardow, Yvonne Riordan, Teresa McFadden, Pam Bruest and Una Kennedy.

Members of the Blue & White Auxiliary recently enjoyed an end-of-year breakfast to conclude yet another successful year of fundraising for the Palliative Care Unit at St Vincents Hospital.

Whether its a curry lunch, a Melbourne Cup party or a raffle, the Blue & White Auxiliary works non-stop throughout the year to raise funds to make life a little more comfortable for patients facing their own mortality.

This year the Blue & White angels raised more than $7000 but far from taking the credit themselves, they instead wanted to thank the many businesses and individuals who have supported their work and wish all their associates a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
