Big hitters club their way to victory

James Ekins eyes the pitch with suspicion in the Under 13 game between Larnock Eagles and Dodgers Mustangs at Albert Park on Friday afternoon. The Mustangs ran away with the match 23-3 with a number of home runs and one grand slam.

The Byron Bay Redsox have continued their good form, polishing off Rous Rangers 10-4 thanks to some big hitting by Lyn King in the Far North Coast division one softball.

King clobbered a home run, a three bagger and a double during the encounter and was supported in the batting box by Tracey Johnson, who also teed off on the Rous pitching.

In the other match Dodgers Devils monstered Workers Condors 17-8, with Loris Gordon hammering two home runs and pitching well at the start of the game.
