BankWest means business

Attending the official opening of the BankWest Business Banking Centre in Lismore recently were (rear l-r) Glenn Triggs, Steve Avery, David Traynor, Stewart Medcalf and Ray Lindwall with (front l-r) Lismore MP Thomas George, Jamie Ritchie (head of rural and regional banking for Bankwest), David Seymour, Rod Mitchell and Anne Campbell.

BankWest now has a presence in Lismore with the opening of the BankWest Business Banking Centre last week at 21 Conway Plaza.

BankWest is stepping up its assault on the Australian banking industry with the roll-out of a new retail and commercial banking network that includes 160 new centres. The idea is to challenge the dominance of the big four banks and provide an alternative.

Lismore was a natural choice for our business centre because of the regions strong economic growth, said BankWests Jamie Ritchie. The diverse mixture of commercial and agribusiness industries influenced our decision.
