Evans Head sewerage info session

Richmond Valley Council will be conducting a community information session next Monday, December 3, to provide details about the status and progress of various Council sewerage projects being undertaken in the Evans Head and Woodburn areas.

Topics include the Evans Head Sewage Treatment Plant upgrade, re-use of Evans Head effluent through irrigation at school and sporting fields, excess effluent release investigations and the Salty Lagoon rehabilitation project. Mayor Charlie Cox and relevant Council staff and consultants will be in attendance, along with a representative of the Department of Environment and Climate Change, to enable community members to ask questions.
