Squashing the juice out

NNT [no name team] were shot down 4-1 by the Guns team on Thursday night at the Lismore Squash and Sports Centre on Wyrallah Road. At one stage, the match looked like being a whitewash until NNTs Jesse came away with a 3-1 win late in the games. Meanwhile, Pollards did whitewash Timezone, thanks to Doug Pollard and his magic reverse backhand. Timezones Michael ONeil just couldnt work it out at all.

Instyle looked asleep early with Blue Wawn losing his first two games 9-2, 9-2 but he made a come back, beating Kumons Brian Johnson 10-9, 9-0, 10-9 but Instyle fell just short when Blue went down by one rubber in his last match.

Wilsons were agitated by Advance, who scaled even higher up the points ladder with a solid win. However, things could have been even better for the men from measurement if Big Bob was able to beat Wilsons Bill McDonald, but thats another story.

With John Daley away on holidays, First Pacific thought they were in with a great chance to sully Daleys title hopes, but Daleys fill-in Simon McDonald had a great win in 3 as he towelled up the Credit Union competitors. In all, the players are keen for the weather to cool after some very hot nights on court.
