Hillybilly hoe down

Jimmy Willing and The Real Gone Hick-Ups will be there. So will Circus, the Singing Dog and the fabulous Gleny Rae Virus. So, where will they be? At Live in Hillbilly Heaven in Lismore this Saturdee night, of course.

Its become something of a tradition in Lismore The Live in Hillbilly Heaven spectaculars. Theyre one of the many creations that pour from the Renaissance brain of Jimmy Willing who is the front person of Jimmy Willing and The Real Gone Hick-Ups.

This will be a hootenanny to beat all hootenannies! (And dont tell me you dont like a good hootenanny.)

This Saturday night, March 31, the Chequer Board Room at the Italo Club in North Lismore will feature (besides Jimmy Willing and the lads) the gorgeous princess of fiddle, Gleny Rae Virus; that travelling dude of cowboy rock Mick Daley with his eclectic ensemble The Puddin Thieves; the all singin, all playin, all dancin family of country music, The Perch Creek Family Jugband; Uncle Burnin Love, the banjo bandido; sweet Ginger Dreadlocks and the amazing, talented and flea-hatin Circus the Singing Dog.

Oh my! Does it get any better that this?

No.

Theres even a game of musical statues for the kiddies (who are most welcome and get free entry).

The music starts at 7pm. Entry is $10.

Bring everyone. Enjoy country partyin at its best.
