DJ heaven

DJ Franny has been involved with what he calls alternative ultra psychedelic trance since 1997. He runs four Australian psychedelic music record labels. He is one of the many DJs featuring at Indoor Sessions 2 coming to Lismore soon.

On April 14 at the Tatts Hotel in Lismore, Indoor Sessions 2 will showcase the turntable talents of five DJs Franny (Sundance), Foot-E (Bio-Sine), ManArchY (Alien Gossip), EMP vs Dan Psykes (LivelyCbcrp) and Kayhat (Lazy ATM).

This night of electric psychedelia starts at 9pm and grooves through to 3am.

Entry is $10 (and thats with a free middy if youre there before 10pm).

The Indoor Sessions are the brainchild of Kristian Kayhat Hatton, who wants to put Lismore on the map as a place to go for a night of high-energy boogie on the dance floor. Hes into electronic music that pushes the boundaries of what can be done in your usual run-of-the-mill nightclub.

Kristian wants to bring some of the more positive atmosphere of the open-air electronic festival into the big smoke, decreasing the impact on the eco-system which can be a downside to the forest doof.

The first indoor sessions took place at the Italo Club in Lismore which had two rooms of diverse electronica. It was a surprising success. But things change and with a new music organiser at the Tatts, Indoor Sessions 2 is shaping up as a big night of dance and trance for Lismore.
