Ears that care

Lifeline volunteers provides a caring ear for people with all kinds of problems suicide risk, psychological distress, domestic violence, marriage, family and relationship crises, loneliness, isolation and numerous other issues. The volunteers for this 24-hour telephone service (13 11 14) find the training and support they receive gives them a great sense of purpose.

Lifeline is always on the lookout for trained volunteers, and will begin its next training workshop on April 24. If youre interested in becoming involved, call 6622 4133 for an information package.
