Sould on Ballina

Sould performs the classics from the legendary soul artists heard on the Atlantic, Stax, Motown and Savoy labels of the late 50s, 60s and 70s.

Fronted by three vocalists, Sould brings the audience some of the best music of the soul era. They use arrangements transcribed and arranged from the original recordings.

The band has two female vocalists, a male vocalist, piano, guitar, bass, drums, trumpet, trombone, alto sax, tenor sax and baritone sax now thats a big sound.

Sould will fill the Riverside Lounge of the Ballina RSL Club with soul this Friday, March 23, from 9pm. And its free.

Artist Rosanna Pimm uses 3500 porcelain tampons to created her large scale performance installation  Riots of Passage in The Quad  as part of The Lismore Women's Festival on International Women's Day. Laying down and de-constructing the mandala structure symbolises the impermanence of the menstrual cycle and an end to female inequality in the world.
