A collection of historic local poster art will go on display at SCUs Library Exhibition Space from this Friday, March 23, on Mondays to Thursdays (and on Saturdays, 1-5pm).
With the flood of new settlers that followed the Aquarius Festival in 1973 there were a lot of excitingly different posters (well, they were excitingly different times) that hung in shop windows, the back windows of Kombis, on poles and trees and whatever space that could be found.
They reflect the times with their creativity and their belief in a new world.
The exhibition covers the time from 1973 to 1994.
