Kaela Clifford, 17, from Casino, (pictured), a Year 12 student at St Marys High School, has been chosen to join 120 other students in debating the issue of state and commonwealth powers in Canberra.

The 12th National Schools Constitutional Convention is being held this week at Old Parliament House.

In becoming a national delegate, Kaela was selected from around 5,000 students from public, independent and Catholic schools, most of whom took part in feeder conventions in their home state or territory. When Kaela participated in the NSW convention in Sydney she was selected from her peers from schools across the state.
