Southern Cross LADS fundraiser

Southern Cross LADS (Learn About Driving Skills) has started fundraising to build a driver training facility for young P-platers.

Spokesman Rob Wells, father of Bryce who was one of four boys killed in a car accident at Broken Head last year, said all proceeds from pre-sold tickets for the Lismore greyhound races held on Tuesday, March 20 will be donated to Southern Cross LADS.

Only pre-sold tickets qualify, so get yours from Athletes Foot and Howards Storage World at Lismore Shopping Square, Southern Cross Credit Union, Goonellabah Tavern and Perfix Day Cleaners.Tickets cost $5. Everyone attending on the night will be eligible to win a trip for two to Sydney, with a nights accommodation in Darling Harbour, kindly organised by Travelworld in Conway Plaza.

Other fundraising activities include the sale of a tribute song to the boys, recorded by classmate Kiwat Kennell, which can be purchased from Southern Cross Credit Union, the Lismore Neighbourhood Centre and The Athletes Foot and Howards Storage World, both in Lismore Shopping Square. The CDs cost $5.
