Dubbly good

Dubbly has come all the way from Sydney where they have caused quite a stir. Not exactly the ruckus that Dick Cheney recently caused in that town, but Dubbly has created a huge impression nonetheless. Singer/songwriter Nieko has teamed up with Brazilian percussionist/singer/songwriter Fernando Aragones to create the Dubbly sound roots groove.

For their gig at the UniBar at SCU in Lismore next Thursday, March 8, they have garnered the services of Sydney bassist Sime King, who performs regularly on the Sydney scene with bands like King Jackson and Stage. He will add some funked-up bass to the Dubbly vibe.

Dubbly will tour Brazil and the USA later this year.
