Trinity trophy cabinet swells again

The Trinity open relay team won the Moon Shield in Mullumbimby over the weekend.

The Trinity Lismore Swimming Clubs bulging trophy cabinet is set to burst after another phenomenal performance in the pool by the local girls.

Swimming in the Far North Coast Swimming Championships at the Petria Thomas Baths in Mullumbimby on Saturday, the Trinity team captured both the McClennan and Moon Shields.

The two shields are both for 10 x 50m relay events the McClennan for Under 12 girls and the Moon Shield for the open section.

The McClennan Shield winners were Lauren Da Silva, Julia Petronio, Tainith Dawson, Joanna Whitby, Meisha Donnellan, Sophie Boyle, Hannah Britton, Tarah Clark, Aolani Roy and Suzzanah Lack. The team that took out the Moon Shield were Emma Harris, Naomi Malcolm, Sophie Andrews, Lauren Da Silva, Kallie Seymour, Miranda Crane, Samantha Wilkinson, Joanna Whitby, Tainith Dawson and Suzannah Lack.
