Through the glass, digitally

This image was created by Jennifer Joy using photography and aeroplanes. An exhibition of her work will soon be on display in Lismore.

Jennifer Joy is a passionate photographer and image-maker who comes from a television and theatre background and is holding her first exhibition since the 1980s. Her latest exhibition Above & Beyond the Australian Landscape challenges the viewer to look far beyond, and deeply within, the images to evoke a personal emotional response to the Australian landscape.

These images come from photographs taken through the windows of commercial planes which have been given the Jennifer Joy treatment, printed on canvas, and exposed to public view.

Above & Beyond the Australian Landscape will show at Armisteads Gallery in Lismore from March 8-20.

For more info on this exhibition or Armisteads Gallery phone 6622 8011.
