Target shooting

Lismore Target Rifle Club conducts target shooting every Mon & Wed nightly at the Tuncester outdoor range. The sport gives people in the Lismore area the opportunity to participate in several different shooting disciplines. These are all shot with a .22 rifle using standard velocity ammunition & include Silhouette, 50 Meter Target & 50 Meter Bench Rest. The best time to visit the club is 7pm Mondays or Wednesdays. The club also provides Firearms Training & Testing.

National Service

The Northern Rivers Sub Branch of the National Servicemens Association will be holding a service in Lismore at the National Servicemens Memorial next to the Memorial Baths on Sun, Feb 11 starting at 11am. This is to commemorate the Australia-wide National Servicemens Day. Former members & members of the public are invited to take part in the service & place floral tributes on the memorial. The Northern Rivers branch of Auswide Motorhome Club will celebrate its first birthday on the weekend Feb 16-18 at the old Barkers Vale School, 795 Williams Rd, Barkers Vale.
