Trinity climb the dais in Kempsey

Trinity Catholic College swimming team came in sixth out of 44 clubs after an excellent showing in the NSW Swimming Country Regional Championships which were held at Kempsey over the weekend. Team members Emma Harris, Sam Clarke and Suzannah Lack were the best performers for Trinity, all winning at least one gold medal at the 332 athlete-strong meet.

Sam, in the 13 years and under division, won three gold medals; the 100m breaststroke, 200m individual medley and the 50m backstroke, while 13-year-old Emma picked up a gold in the 50m butterfly and 11-year-old Suzannah stood atop the dais for her efforts in the 200m individual medley.

Meanwhile Joshua Fisher in the 14 years boys division earned himself two silver medals for his swim in the 50 and 100m breaststroke while Jye Rodgers (11 years boys) was pipped for the gold medal in the 100m breaststroke.
