Morse thrives in six race night

Tim Morse made the best of increasingly wet conditions at Lismore City Speedway on Saturday night to earn valuable points in this years V8 Dirt Modified Series.

Morse waited till the second heat before peeling off a brace of blistering laps. Starting outside front, Tim unofficially reset his lap record to 12.73 seconds, while behind him the big movers in the pack were Stuart Herne and Kevin Hopwood, both making up three positions to finish in fourth and third respectively.

Whilst Newcastles Kevin Hopwood led from start to finish in the fourth heat, the big mover in the pack was Morse, who made his way from fifth to second during the eight lap encounter.
