With 80 artworks by artists Mesha Sendyk (Byron Bay), Ben Wilton (Sydney) and Rose Prideaux (Byron Bay), people can view and buy art in a funky, comfy venue.

Artful Abstractions runs from Friday to Sunday, January 19-21, and includes art for sale by the three artists, a daily auction of the communal painting that the three will create each day in front of visitors eyes, and a free workshop on Saturday. (Proceeds from the communal paintings go the Gyuto Monks and to The Buttery.)

Artful Abstractions gives you a glimpse of the artists actually at work the three of us decided to give people a fun opportunity to see the processes and techniques we use and, even more than that, see us collaborating on a single canvas, said Mesha. We hope viewers will enjoy the atmosphere of a beachfront artists caf whilst watching our live pieces unfold each day.
