Workers soccer

Workers have retained the services of former Portuguese professional coach Pedro Bezzera after the successful European coach turned down offers to take up professional coaching back in Portugal. Bezzera declined the work so he could continue his studies at Southern Cross University. Workers first training run gets underway on Thursday evening, January 18, at Richards Oval.

On top of Pedros plans to continue refining the Workers seniors ranks, he will also be head coach for Telstras Football Anytime Coaching Clinic which is open to kids aged 6-12. It starts on Thursday, February 22, and runs for six weeks.

For further details on the clinic, U16s and seniors training phone Wayne Marchant on 0427 874 568.

Rovers soccer

Rovers senior mens and womens soccer training will commence next Sunday, January 14, at the Bill Harris Field in East Lismore at 4pm. Interested people can phone Carlo Borra on 6622 7205.
