Play reading

Lismore Theatre Company will start conducting monthly social play-reading nights where everyone is welcome (I dont know if Rochdale Theatre could fit everyone...) and no experience necessary. The first of these evenings is on Monday, January 22.

This is an opportunity for people interested in writing and/or theatre to come into contact with some of the best Australian plays as well as play writing from around the world. Its an informal event where the actors read sitting around a table. Nice insight into the acting craft...

Its also an excellent and entertaining way to get to know your local theatre scene, mix with local directors and actors, and to inspire yourself towards writing for theatre.

Play reading nights will be held on the fourth Monday of every month at the Rochdale Theatre in Goonellabah.

Doors open at 6.30pm and the fun starts at 7pm. Entry is free.

Just turn up at the theatre from 6.30pm on the night. For more info phone Kaz on 6622 5114.
