While Dr Gates is retired he is not a physican. He has a doctorate, hence the title Dr, with research and clinical background inneuroscience and neuropsychology. The Echo would like to apologise for the error.

Reprieve for newlyweds

The Migration Review Tribunal has accepted an application for review of the DIMA decision to refuse Georgina Gough of Larnook a partner visa, and has agreed to waive the $1400 application fee based on documents forwarded by Georgina and her husband, Andy, to the department proving that the couple would face financial hardship if required to pay the fee. The review of the decision could take up to 40 weeks.
