Helping youth get around these holidays

Transport disadvantaged young people in the Lismore and Goonellabah areas have the chance to catch that movie, go to the swimming pool or access other recreational pursuits these holidays thanks to YOWI (Youth On Wheels Ink), a youth transport program run by Northern Rivers Community Transport, in conjunction with Kirklands Buslines.

Look out for the vouchers on the YOWI advertisements in The Echo during January and ride on all Kirklands Lismore City Route buses for the cost of a gold coin plus a voucher. The offer is valid for young people aged 12 to 20. For more info phone 6624 8080 or 0402 627 347.
